Why choose a wine cooler for your business?
Our range of elegant wine coolers is designed to keep wines at the perfect temperature while helping create attractive displays with real visual impact. The wine cooler fridges come with a small water reservoir to help maintain an optimal level of humidity in the unit to preserve the wine corks.
Types of wine coolers: Finding the perfect fit for your needs
At TEFCOLD, we offer a wide range of energy efficient wine coolers to suit your exact requirements, from standard sizes to slim wine coolers. They can be freestanding or built-in as desired, and we also offer wine dispensers to help optimize service and customer experience.
Our range of wine fridges is designed to keep wines and other bottled beverages at the perfect temperature while helping create attractive displays with real visual impact. We offer solutions with one or dual temperature zones, so cabinets can store, cool, and display both red, white wine, and sparkling wine at the same time.
If you sell wine by the glass or carafe, our wine dispensers accommodate 20-litre or 30-litre bag-in-a-box wine, which can be chilled to the desired temperature and served from a choice of two or three taps.
The wine cooler cabinets are equipped with beautiful natural wooden shelves. If you want to enhance the visual impact of your wine bottles, additional presentation shelves allow you to slant the bottles towards the glass so that the entire bottle and label is visible.
How to properly store and serve wine
If you're a wine enthusiast or an aspiring connoisseur, you know that proper wine storage and serving techniques can dramatically improve the overall wine experience.
To maintain the quality and taste of your wine, it's essential to store it at the right temperature. Here are the ideal temperature ranges for different types of wine:
Sparkling Wine: 4-10°C
Light White Wine: 7-10°C
Full-Bodied White Wine: 10-13°C
Light Red Wine: 13-16°C
Full-Bodied Red Wine: 16-18°C
Dessert Wine: 13-16°C
When it comes to serving temperatures, chill sparkling, white, and rosé wines just before serving. For red wines, let them breathe for 15-20 minutes at room temperature before serving.
In addition to maintaining the correct temperature, here are a few more parameters to keep an eye on to ensure optimal storage conditions for your wine collection:
Temperature stability Set your wine cooler's temperature to match the recommended ranges mentioned above. Avoid frequent adjustments to prevent temperature fluctuations.
Humidity control Aim for 60-70% humidity inside the cooler. An overly dry environment may cause corks to dry out, while excessive humidity can lead to mold growth.
UV protection Prolonged exposure to sunlight can damage wine. Keep your wine cooler away from windows or direct sunlight and opt for a cabinet model with UV-protective glass doors.
Organization Store wines horizontally to keep the cork moist, preventing oxidation.
