QUICK GUIDE TO WARRANTIES

In certain countries, TEFCOLD offers a warranty that is normally valid for one or two years. The warranty may either cover spare parts only or service and spare parts. 

Depending on your agreement with TEFCOLD, you will be able to purchase parts in our online store or select a warranty as an additional purchase online.

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase from TEFCOLD. 
Prices and response times vary from country to country.

 Spare parts warranty

  • Defects in the design, materials or manufacture of the product in question
  • Replacement parts to remedy a product defect or defects within the warranty period
     

 

  • Cosmetic defects not notified on delivery of the product
  • Shelves, trays, handles, gaskets and glass parts that are not notified on delivery of the product
  • Light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, LED lamps and fuses not notified on delivery of the product
  • Consumables and wearing parts
  • If a defect has occurred because the product is not used or maintained as stated in the product manual
  • Wear and tear
  • Service technician charges
  • If the goods are exported to another country 

 Extended warranty

  • Defects in the design, materials or manufacture of the product in question
  • Replacement parts to remedy a product defect or defects within the warranty period
  • Service technician charges
  • Cosmetic defects not notified on delivery of the product
  • Shelves, trays, handles, gaskets and glass parts that are not notified on delivery of the product
  • Light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, LED lamps and fuses not notified on delivery of the product
  • Consumables and wearing parts
  • If a defect has occurred because the goods are not used or maintained as stated in the product manual
  • Wear and tear
  • If the goods are exported to another country 
 
When reporting a defect under the warranty, the claimant must state:
1.The product name and serial number
2.Description of the defect
3.Address (current location of the product)
 
If the warranty includes service:
4.Phone number of the contact person at the location
5. Hours of opening (if any) 
 
If the claim is not covered by the warranty or unwarranted, the Purchaser is obliged to cover all costs incurred by TEFCOLD in connection with the claim.
