TEFCOLD acquires Horeca Global Solutions
Return to NewsThe TEFCOLD Group has acquired Barcelona based Horeca Global Solutions, a subsidiary of Eurofred. Horeca Global Solution is a market leader in commercial cooling and other Horeca products on the Iberian Peninsula. Horeca Global Solutions has its head office in Barcelona, Spain.
“The addition of Horeca Global Solutions to the TEFCOLD Group will strengthen the group and help us serve our customers better, faster and more competitively going forward.” says TEFCOLD CEO Jesper Kirkeby Hansen. “We have known Horeca Global Solutions for many years, it is a great company with great employees and the acquisition is an important step in our growth strategy.”
Horeca Global Solutions is based in Barcelona in Spain, has a total of 21 employees in Spain and Portugal and is delivering its products from 2 warehouses close to Barcelona and 1 in the Canary Islands. Horeca Global Solutions is a subsidiary of Eurofred, a market leader in air conditioning and HVAC with a European footprint.

Horeca Global Solutions will continue to have the same management and staff as today but will change its name to TEFCOLD and will be working out of new offices in Barcelona.
The TEFCOLD Group is headquartered in Viborg, Denmark and has 170 employees in 10 countries. TEFCOLD is selling to more than 6000 customers. The supply chain is handled from its 8 warehouses in Europe with deliveries of more than 170.000 coolers to around 100 countries globally.
